that  your Touch 'n Go Card only valid for maximum up to 10 year lifespan
only!
Therefore, for those
who has bought the Touch 'n Go Card between 1997 and August 2000, were expired.
It will fail to function and you may experience difficulties when passing
through a toll plaza if no renewal is done this
year.
It is estimated over
283,000 Touch 'n Go cardholders will be expired this
year.
 
You need to renew the
Touch 'n Go card by purchasing a new card which cost RM10 and it will last for
10 years as well. Therefore, it cost
RM1 per year in order to use this facilities.
Renewal can be done
at  any Touch 'n Go service hub or at the customer service centers along the
highways.
You may check your
also check when your Touch 'n Go card expiry date at Touch 'n Go web site or
call Touch 'n Go Careline Centre at 03-7628 5115.
By doing a simple
Math, Touch 'n Go can easily collected up to RM2.83 Million in profit at the
expenses of the cardholders for the renewal!
Why must cardholders
force to paid a fee of RM10 to purchase a new Touch 'n Go card to replace the
one they are currently holding?
Touch 'n Go operator
already enjoy this monopoly business  and benefited  from interest free deposit
collected from million motorist previously and will continue to
benefit.
Let assume each of
the 283,000 Touch 'n Go contain average RM10 balance which is very conservation
figure and never take into all the current Touch 'n Go card in the circulation.
Every month Touch 'n Go operator will collect over RM4,000 interest free in term
of interest!

aku pun penah terkena jugak..aku pki smart tag..aku perasan masa cuti sekolah hari tu..aku kerugian dlm rm8.40..tp aku diam kn jer sbb malas nk bising2..itu yg aku perasan...yg aku tk perasan ntah dh
berapa kali..rupa2nya ada org lain pun kene jugak..so skrg ni..aku pasang assistant kt sblh aku utk catit manual..so raya baru2 ni aku dh tk percaya ngan display kt smart tag tu or display kt plaza tol..so aku pakai assistant yg ada kt sblh...so alhamdulillah...bila
smpi kl semula..baki yg dicatit oleh assistant aku tu sama dgn yg tercatit di kad TnG aku..kalau tk sama aku kene komplen jugak..mana leh beb kalau dua kali main kebas je secara percuma..

Rupa-rupanya kad Touch n Go (TnG) pun tak boleh diharap.Kaki tipu jugak.Oleh itu,hangpa dinasihatkan supaya berhati-hati dengan baki kad TnG hangpa.

Aku sendiri dah terkena beb! Masa keluar dari tol Jalan Duta baki kad TnG aku ada RM92.90,tapi bila melalui sebuah lagi tol terbuka di Lebuhraya Duke yang berharga RM2.00, baki kad telah menjadi RM74.30.

Ini bermakna aku telah dicaj RM18.60 untuk tol yang berharga RM2.00. Aku kerugian RM16.60.Itu baru aku sorang yang perasan terkena.Macamana pula bagi orang lain yang tak ambik pot dengan baki kad masing-masing? Kalau sorang dia tipu seringgit, cuba hangpa congak
kalau 5 juta pengguna dia tipu sorang seringgit.Buta- buta saja...

Aku pun selama ni tak ambik pot dengan baki kad,hari tu boleh perasan sebab baru top up sebelum masuk tol Juru,sebab tu la senang detect pasai ada resit top up tu lagi kat dalam poket.

Kes ni,aku dah pi buat report kat kaunter TnG,dia kata dalam masa sebulan dia akan bayar balik duit yang terlebih potong tu.Sempat la depa rolling duit tu dulu...aku kasi can la kali ni.Lain kali kalau kena tipu lagi,aku nekad bawak pi mahkamah beb.

Jadi berhati-hatilah kerana penyangak ada di mana-mana saja sekarang ni.Jangan terlalu mempercayai sistem buatan manusia.

Saya bukanlah pro mana2 pihak tetapi melihat dari sudut rasional secara teknikal.

Adakah RM10 untuk 10 tahun menjadi satu isu besar? Cuba kita lihat RM10 tu utk apa... Berapa kos pengeluaran kad dan chip? Bagaimana dengan kos penyelenggaraan data? RM1 utk 1 kad dalam masa setahun bg saya adalah sangat-sangat patut kalau kita compare dgn sakit hati org yg beratur ditol tunai... janganla melihat dengan simple math sebab life is not that simple..

Kalau iya pun ada profit, itu kan bisnes. Bisnes apa yg tak mahu profit.. hehehe...

mungkin diaorang nak upgrade cip dalam tu. dari 128bit kepada 256bit ke (contoh la). boleh letak encryption yg lebih bagus, data yg lebih besar, protection yg lebih baik. mungkin lepas ini diaorang nak upgrade service, guna smart tag tanpa perlu lalu tol booth, dan bermacam2 lagi teknologi baru yg mungkin tak terpikir (apatah lagi tersenarai dalam senarai pendek saya ini)
ambil contoh astro dulu la. diaorang tukar card sebab ada orang boleh hack card, dan boleh open semua channel tanpa perlu subscribe ke astro. sebab kedua, diaorang upgrade channel, jadi storage dalam card perlu lebih besar. ketiga, diaorang dah fikir pasal astro beyond sebelum diaorang promo.
jadi investment RM10 untuk upgrade ke ciri2 yg lebih bagus, saya tak kisah.

itu adalah sangkaan yg baik.... namun hakikat setakat ni aku tengok samajer...takde perubahan yg mewajarkan...kalau betul kenapa TnG tak explain kpd pengguna, ni sonyap jor...duit jumping pun sonyap, mana tak public mushkil ? buatlah online act TnG2u.com.my boleh kita semak act tu..betulka depa kira..ada transparency ......baru2 aku tengok tol sg besi sampai 3 lorong Smart tag, 3 lorong Tng dan cuma 2 lorong tunai....buat 2 lorong dahla,,sedekah kat tunai lagi 2 lorong jadi 4 lorong...kesian aku tengok beratur panjang tu...dg baby, mak baby..lagi2 bapak baby....walaupun aku pakai Smtag...lagi sekali ..apa jadi dg promotion depa ni ttg Smtag dan TnG ?

Isteri saya seorang pengguna tetap touch n go. alhamdulllillah, sepanjang dia belajar sambil bekerja, tiap2 bulan dia dapat 20% rebate dari PLUS. malah, sebelum dapat rebate, dia terlebih dahulu akan tahu berapa jumlah rebate yg akan dapat melalui internet.

Good Info thanks Nazri....bukan PLUS tapi TnG...pokcik kt kg yg takde internet cam nak register..apa salahnya beri diskaun automatik tanpa register? setiap kad kan ada chip?...lagipun bukan semuanya aware kut sebab tidak ada surat snailmail yg dihantar padahal TnG ada database....iklan kat tv pun takde macam iklan kit kat tu....jadi TnG dianggap tak all-out to promote discount ni....padahal iklan gomen yg lain punyerlah banyak ...apapun aku masih tak layak dapat rebat ni....terimakasih pd pengundi PRU yg lepas, kalau tak diskaun TnG, diskaun toll Raya (PLUS dan sejenis dgnya) hanyalah mimpi...

What is the definition of DORMANT or INACTIVE TOUCH 'n GO CARD?

Under the Terms & Conditions of Touch 'n Go card, an inactive card is
defined as a card which has not had any Card Transactions by way of Add
Value Transaction or which has not had any utilisation of its pre-paid
balances with any Service Providers for a consecutive period of 12 months.

2.

How to keep my Touch 'n Go card active?

Your card will remain active as long as you reload or use at least once a
year.

3.

What do I do if my Touch 'n Go card has been deactivated?

Please visit our counter to surrender your card and get back your unutilised
card balance (subject to the terms & conditions

4.

Why TNGSB needs to deactivate dormant card?

There is quite a number of dormant or inactive Touch 'n Go cards in our
system. These dormant cards have caused unnecessary load that prevent the
system from operating optimally, thus affecting our service level to all
active users. By deactivating these non-active cards, we will be able to
streamline our system to improve system efficiency and to provide good
services to all our customers.

5.

Will there be a fee when a card is deactivated?

a.

Once a card is deactivated, an ADMINISTRATION FEE of RM5.00 will be imposed
immediately and deducted from the deposit or unutilised card balance.

b.

In the event of a deactivated card continues to remain inactive, a
MAINTENANCE FEE of RM5.00 will be charged and deducted from the said deposit
or unutilised card balance once every six (6) months.

c.

We will stop charging maintenance fee when the card is reactivated, returned
for refund or until the deposit and card balance are depleted.

6.

Why TNGSB imposes a deactivation fee and maintenance fee?

The deactivation and maintenance fees are to cover system maintenance and
administration cost.

7.

Why TNGSB imposes a maintenance fee once every six months?

This is to urge customers to quickly visit our counter to claim the
unutilised card balance (subject to the terms and conditions

Isteri saya seorang pengguna tetap touch n go. alhamdulllillah, sepanjang
dia belajar sambil bekerja, tiap2 bulan dia dapat 20% rebate dari PLUS.
malah, sebelum dapat rebate, dia terlebih dahulu akan tahu berapa jumlah
rebate yg akan dapat melalui internet.

apa yang dilakukan, hanyalah mendaftarkan kad touch n go secara online.
mungkin kita pun boleh buat perkara yg sama, bukan ?

Salam - saya setuju dgn bro Nazri. Tapi berbalik kpd soalan Encik bwasi, bila kena tukar setiap 10 tahun lah kita boleh kata RM1 untuk setahun... maksudnya RM10 tu memang bajet utk kos guna selama 10 tahun.. kalau tak perlu tukar kad selepas 10 tahun, mungkin PLUS akan charge RM30 bila mula2 buat kad sebab akan consider kos penggunaan selama 30 tahun tanpa menukar kad..

Maybe dia takut rosak time2 peak hour tengah beratur 2-3 kilometer..time2 dok
bratur tengok2 nun kat depan ada plak yang rosak kad TnG..hehe..parah..nak
kedepan tak boleh..ke blakang pon tak boleh..logiknya..setiap benda ada had
umurnya. sampai satu masa kena tukar..dan untuk 10 tahun punya masa..agak
panjang tu.

RM10 punya harga. Saya rasa kalau kat malaysia ni kalau free, semua pun nak
ambil kesempatan, calar2 sket pun nak tukar..alaaa..benda free..hehe..kalau
benda kita bayar ni niasanya kita pun cuba nak panjangkan jangka hayat dia.. Ni
kan bisnes setiap sen pun kira..Agaknya kalau saya pun tokei TnG..mau satu kad
rm20..hahaha..nak untung lebih..Ni cuma pendapat saya jer..
