Laporan pengguna yang terbaru di Amerika terhadap 28 jenis kereta yang dipakai oleh pengguna di sana menunjukkan kereta Scion xD merupakan kereta yang paling dipercayai oleh para pengguna. ini berdasarkan tahap kepuasan para pengguna yang menggunakan kereta tersebut.

Paling menarik apabila dalam senarai paling tercorot sekali iaitu di tangga ke 28 merupakan jenis kereta yang membawa jenama Jaguar. Modelnya yang dipanggil Jaguar XF merupakan kereta yang paling teruk mendapat kutukan daripada penggunanya.

Porche, satu lagi jenama yang mewah dan dipandang tinggi di negara kita menduduki tangga no 2 paling teruk dikutuk serta diserapah oleh para penggunannya.

Berada di tangga kedua adalah kereta berjenama Lexus. Satu lagi kereta keluaran Toyota dan modelnya yang paling dipercayai adalah model CT200h. Keseluruhan kereta berjenama Toyota berada di tangga ke-6.

Nissan pula menduduki tangga ke 9. Kenderaan pick-up nya yang bernama Titan mendapat pujian paling tinggi daripada para penggunannya.

Lexus scored the best out of 32 brands, while Chrysler fared the worst.

Lexus is the top performer in a survey of vehicle dependability released Wednesday, but most other brands also showed improvement in an industry that has reached historically high dependability levels.

Consulting firm J.D. Power and Associates polled 31,000 owners of 2009 model-year vehicles and rated brands by the number of problems owners have experienced in the last 12 months. Problems can range from stalling engines and transmission issues to peeling paint and electronics glitches.

Toyota PriusThe top complaint in this year's survey was excessive wind noise, followed by noisy brakes.

Lexus owners reported 86 problems per 100 vehicles. Porsche, Cadillac,Toyota and Scion rounded out the top five. The worst performers wereChrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Jaguar. Chrysler owners reported 192 problems per 100 vehicles.

The industry average was 132 problems per 100 vehicles, a 13 percent improvement from last year and the highest rate since the survey began in 1990. The results are particularly surprising since the industry was in turmoil in 2009. Both General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group LLC went through bankruptcy that year, and U.S. auto sales fell to a 30-year low because of the recession.

Cadillac CTS"Despite facing immense challenges in 2009, automakers placed a keen focus on delivering outstanding levels of quality, which they understood would be essential to their long-term success," J.D. Power automotive vice president David Sargent said in a statement.

J.D. Power said 25 of 32 brands improved their scores, with Scion and Mini making the biggest leaps. Lincoln, Acura, Kia, Infiniti, Ram and Jaguar all saw their scores fall from a year ago. Buick's score stayed the same.

Mini CooperToyota Motor Corp. had eight winners at the segment level, the most of any automaker. The Toyota Yaris was the most dependable subcompact, the Toyota Prius was the best compact and the Toyota Tundra was the best pickup truck. Toyota began a series of safety recalls in late 2009, and some 2009 model-year vehicles were included in those recalls, but that wasn't reflected in the company's results.

Ford Motor Co. had three segment winners, including the Ford Fusionmidsize car and Ford Explorer SUV, while General Motors Co. andNissan Motor Co. had two winners each.

Scion XD ni dna  buatan Toyota jugak...patutla lambang lkurang.

KOTA BHARU - Seorang peniaga kecewa setelah mendakwa dia tertipu membeli susu yang dilelong di Pasar Malam Pauh Lima, Bachok pada malam Selasa lalu.

Peniaga berkenaan, Wan Zah Wan Ibrahim, 46 berkata, susu pekat tersebut dibeli setelah pengunjung pasar malam berkenaan berpusu-pusu mendapatkan susu terbabit.

"Semasa membelinya, saya ada tanya mengenai tarikh luput susu itu kerana musykil kenapa ia dijual murah, namun peniaga menjawab tarikhnya pada Julai nanti.

"Tin susu kebanyakannya kemek dan ketika itu saya syak ia susu lama, tetapi saya tidak pasti kenapa saya teruja untuk membelinya sehingga balik ke rumah, saya terkejut melihat susu berkulat dan berwarna kekuningan," katanya kepada Sinar Harian, di sini.

Wan Zah berkata, pada malam tersebut, peniaga itu melelong susu dengan tawaran harga RM10 untuk sembilan tin susu pekat.

Menurutnya, memandangkan dia memang memerlukan bekalan susu pekat untuk meniaga jagung kukus, dia membeli susu terbabit sebanyak RM10.

"Saya bernasib baik kerana menuang susu ke dalam bekas lain terlebih dahulu dan tidak tuang terus ke dalam jagung kukus, jika tidak, sudah pasti pelanggan saya mengalami keracunan makanan.

"Saya berharap perkara ini dapat disiasat oleh pihak berkuasa dan orang ramai diminta tidak mudah terpedaya mendapatkan susu murah," katanya yang kesal kerana peniaga itu sanggup menipu tarikh luput kepada pelanggannya. -SH
