I cannot stop myself from sharing this with all of you.

Its all started when I received a call from someone
claiming that he was from Maxis and he asked me to shutdown
my phone for 2 hours for 3g update to take place. As I was
rushing for a meeting, I did not question and shutdown my
cell phone.

After 45 minutes I felt very
suspicious since the caller did not even introduce his name.
I quickly turned on my cell phone and I received several
calls from my family members and the others were from the
number that had called me earlier - 3954380.

I called my parents and I was shocked that they sounded
very worried asking me whether I am safe. My parents told me
that they had received a call from someone claiming that
they had me with them and asking for money to let me free.
The call was so real and my parents even heard 'my
voice' crying out loud asking for help. My parent was at
the bank waiting for next call to proceed for money
transfer. I told my parents that I am safe and asked them
to lodge a police report.

Right after that I received
another call from the guy asking me to shutdown my cell
phone for another 1 hour which I refused to do and hung up.
They keep calling my cell phone until the battery had run
down. I myself lodged a police report and I was informed by
the officer that there were many such scams reported.
MOST of the cases
reported that the victim had already transferred the
money! And it is
impossible to get back the money.

Be careful as this kind of scam might happened to any of
us!!! Those guys are so professional and very convincing
during calls. If you are asked to shut down your cell phone
for updates by the service provider, ASK AROUND! Your family
or friends might receive the same call.

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Dis [1.20 pm] - Kebakaran membabitkan dua kereta berlaku di Stesen Petronas Bandar Indera Mahkota di Kuantan semalam mengakibatkan kecederaan ringan terhadap pemandu kereta berkenaan. Kenyataan dari Petronas Dagangan Berhad hari ini menjelaskan bahawa kemalangan jam 9.15 pagi itu berlaku di pam stesen itu dan api segera dipadamkan oleh kakitangannya. Pemandu kereta pertama cedera ringan dan diberi rawatan pesakit luar di Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan sementara penumpang kereta kedua masih di bawah perhatian di hospital itu. Pihak berkuasa dan wakil Petronas Dagangan ketika itu berada di tempat kejadian untuk membantu dan menjalankan siasatan lanjut tentang sebab kejadian itu. Stesen itu kini ditutup sementara. Dalam pada itu, Petronas Dagangan Berhad menasihatkan pelanggan mematuhi peraturan keselamatan di semua stesennya yang melarang keras penggunaan telefon selular, merokok dan membiarkan enjin hidup semasa mengisi minyak. "Kami ingin menegaskan bahawa kami menganggap keselamatan pelanggan, pekerja, kontraktor dan orang awam sebagai amat penting di kawasan operasi kami," kata kenyataan itu.

Dua Wanita Tercedera, Akibat Pam Minyak Petronas Terbakar Di Kuantan Pagi Tadi !

KUANTAN, 15 Dis [9.32 am] - Dua wanita melecur di sebahagian tubuh badan mereka, akibat disambar api gara-gara kebakaran yang berlaku di sebuah stesyen pam minyak Petronas (foto) di Bandar Indera Mahkota dekat sini. Kejadian yang berlaku sekitar jam 9.20 pagi tadi, dipercayai berpunca daripada enjin salah sebuah kereta yang dihidupkan. Apa yang memusykilannya ialah, enjin berkenaan dihidupkan oleh pemandu terbabit selepas beliau mengisi minyak dan bukannya ketika mengisi minyak seperti kebiasaannya. Wanita yang tercedera terbabit dipercayai penumpang kedua-dua buah kenderaan berkenaan. Menurut salah seorang mangsa yang ditemui, ketika kejadian beliau sedang menunggu suaminya untuk membayar minyak di kaunter. "Tiba-tiba api yang marak datang menyambar kereta (Perodua Myvi) saya. Ketika itu cermin tingkap kereta tidak bertutup" katannya. Difahamkan, sebahagian tubuhnya melecur akibat kejadian tersebut. Salah seorang lagi mangsa yang cedera, dipercayai berada dalam kenderaan yang dihidupkan enjin itu (Proton Saga Exclusive). Api yang marak itu menyebabkan kekecohan berlaku di stesyen minyak berkenaan. Orang ramai bertempiaran lari kerana khuatir pam minyak tersebut akan meletup akibat kebakaran tersebut. Api berjaya dipadamkan beberapa minit selepas, ketibaan anggota bomba dari balai berdekatan. Stesyen minyak terbabit kini ditutup kepada orang ramai, untuk siasatan lanjut.

[Orang ramai yang berpusu-pusu di tempat kejadian juga amat terkejut dengan insiden yang berlaku itu. Mereka tergaman kerana kejadian yang melibatkan orang awam itu berlaku sehari selepas Speaker Dewan Rakyat menolak usul pembentangan Laporan Kewangan Petronas yang disuarakan oleh Ketua Pembangkang, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim semalam. Seperti di parlimen, wakil Petronas Dagangan yang berada di tempat kejadian juga telah menghalang krew kami daripada melaporkan berita ini, atas alasan sidang media akan diadakan kemudian. Memandangkan kes ini adalah berkaitan dengan rakyat, maka ia perlu didedahkan kepada umum dan tidak perlu diselindungkan seperti yang berlaku di parlimen. Oleh itu, kepada pengguna yang mengisi minyak selepas ini, dinasihatkan agar berhati-hati dengan keselamatan mereka. Masakan, hidupkan enjin selepas isi minyak pun boleh mencetuskan kebakaran. Ini amat berbahaya kepada pengguna yang lain sebenarnya].

The Car Fountain

This unusual fountain set up in Rome, Italy is the work of Spanish artist Juan Galdeano who wanted to make a statement that would hopefully draw attention to the issue of global warming. The fountain was built to look like it's sustaining a hatchback Seat Ibiza, when in reality the car is being supported by an intricate installation. Let's face it, that would have to be quite a powerful jet of water to sustain the car. The fountain is available to the public from June 5 to August 10.

This car from "Rides Magazine" has been tricked out as a high-riser with spinners to celebrate the Crown Victoria, the most common taxi car model.

Need to get across town really fast? Then this is the perfect taxi for you. A Lamborghini Murcielago with a 6.5 liter engine under the hood, spewing out 633 bhp so you can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds to stop at the red light.

this happened to be posted on your very own website. the caption is aimed at the orange Porsche Cayenne but with a closer look one might realize that the car in front of it is a much more unusual taxi cab. it happens to be a Maybach which is the ultimate luxury car costing upwards of $450,000- far more than the $80,000 Porsche Cayenne.

This looks like a gangster cab.

Take a look at this Ferrari Enzo sporting, a new Arab taxi design. The $850,000 hypercar was spotted in Muscat, Oman, and also appears to have blacked-out rear lights.

Note: according to Ferrarichat.com, this is photoshopped, but pretty cool anyway.

These taxi's wide, interchangeable doors can be hosed down. A built-in ramp lets wheelchairs or scooters roll right in.

This Standard Taxi has an internal combustion engine that can be converted to run on natural gas and holds an extralarge tank in its trunk, so drivers don't have to waste time filling up during their shift.
