RE: www.auto.pdniaga.com - ACCOUNT SECURITY ALERT

Salam,
Sy pernah buat aduan mengenai SMS mendapat wang Rm15000 dr Shell. Ini jawapan yang diberikan dr SKMM pada hari yang sama:

Terima kasih kerana menghubungi Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM). 

 

Setelah diteliti aduan tersebut, pihak kami mendapati bahawa ianya adalah berkenaan kegiatan penipuan yang dijalankan melalui perkhidmatan pesanan ringkas (SMS). Untuk makluman tuan, penipuan ini boleh diambil tindakan di bawah Seksyen 420, Kanun Keseksaan yang merupakan di dalam bidang kuasa pihak polis. Justeru itu, pihak kami akan mengajukan aduan ini kepada pihak polis untuk tindakan selanjutnya. Pihak kami bersedia memberi kerjasama kepada pihak polis sekiranya diperlukan.

 

Adalah dimaklumkan, pihak SKMM turut mengajukan aduan ini kepada pembekal perkhidmatan selular terbabit untuk tindakan penyekatan nombor talian yang menghantar SMS penipuan tersebut. Pihak SKMM akan terus memantau dan bekerjasama dengan pembekal-pembekal perkhidmatan selular bagi memberi peringatan kepada para pengguna agar berhati-hati serta tidak memberikan sebarang maklumat  peribadi kepada mana-mana pihak yang diragui kesahihannya.
