keta yg didesign kena pakai thermostat, kena la pakai thermostat. klu x nk pakai, buat la atas risiko sendiri. ada risiko ka? salah satu function thermostat ni utk bagi engine sampai ke "optimum" suhu panas dgn cepat. waktu engine sejuk, water pump akan circulate heat generated dlm kaw engine je supaya cepat panas. sbbnya utk bagi engine to operate at optimum operating temperature. bila dah panas sgt x leh la pulak nanti oeveheat lak so bila air tu dah sampai abt thermostat operating temp (depand on veh tapi aku rasa dlm 80 - 90 deg) akan dibuka la thermostat utk disejukkan air  di rad. kat m'sia suhu luaran x la sesejuk negara sejuk so maybe utk tujuan ni, maybe x byk masalah. maybe only tau. satu lagi function thermostat ni ialah utk limitkan aliran air yg dipam supaya longer masanya air diexposekan at radiator. klu x dak thermostat, air tu laju je at radiator so not much heat is transfered yg mana akan menyebabkan x cukup heat rejection yg mana bole menyebabkan coolant temperature lagi tingi yg masuk kedalam enjin yg mana bole menyebabkan overheat.  tapi ini in theory je , actual veh kena check sendiri. sebab2 lain tak tau . tok guru skrg kat amerika so susah nk contact dia.

kete aku kete daihatsu ascent, apsal plak kete protong boleh xpakai termostat... enjin honda kena pakai? huhuhu..aku nye single cam, bolehla kut tak pakai.

Hat tu tak check la pulak sebab tak pandai sangat, termostat tu apa fungsi nyea and lokasi nye di mane ye? Temperature naik masa panjat bukit, layer tu tak perasan la plak.

Salam automobil member,

Ni aku ade cerita misteri skit, kete aku ni baru je tukar enjin bulan 10
aritu pastu semalam aku pergila Bandar Baru Bangi dari Klang. Tup tup
atas hiway temperature naik so terpaksala stop kejap bagi temperatue
cool down sikit. Sampai je kat destinasi, sepupu aku tryla bukak cap
radiator nak tengok kut2la water pump or radiator ade problem. Tengok2
air keluar bila kita ramp minyak, suspect tersumbat la ni. Pastu bila
bawak pi bengkel, bila nak test mende sama...semua nya ok je. water pump
jalan, air radiator pusing macam biasa. Ni yang aku heran ni, korang
heran tak?

pastu aku ingat dapat bonus nanti nak buat sistem coolant/radiator kete
aku ni. aku ingat nak tukar radiator hat panjang 2 kaki kut pastu nak
tukar water pump 6 bilah kipas. agak2 berapa ye kawan2? kete aku skrg
pakai radiator 1 kaki pastu 1.6cc.
