3 Cedera 4 Kenderaan Berlanggar Di Lebuhraya Karak
Posted by greenboc

Beliau berkata kesemua mangsa berusia lingkungan 20 hingga 50 tahun.

- Bernama

Kanak-kanak dua tahun maut dirempuh kereta bapa
Bernama Media

Nissan SERENA S-HYBRID finally in Malaysia at RM149,500.00
NISSAN has just launched the SERENA S-HYBRID — Malaysia's first hybrid MPV. The allnew SERENA S-HYBRID has best-in-class fuel economy (15.2km/L based on the Japan JC08 test cycle) with a spacious interior that offers up to 14 seat confi gurations — the ideal choice for MPV users who appreciates 8-passenger seating, innovative utility and supreme comfort.

The powertrain of the new SERENA S-HYBRID is a simple yet compact hybrid system incorporating the new MR20DD 4-cylinder DOHC petrol engine with direct-injection, Twin CVTC (Continuously Variable Valve Timing) and the latest generation XTRONIC CVT with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC).

Its ECO electric motor serves as an auxiliary power source to provide engine assistance and power regeneration. The hybrid system also adds an additional battery unit for increased storage capacity to power the ECO Motor.

HYBRID DUTY: There is no conf rmation yet on the extension of the hybrid duty exemption for 2014. Better to buy now.
The S-Hybrid system also features an Idling Stop System which automatically switches off the engine when the vehicle comes to a stop in traffic, helping the SERENA S-HYBRID to achieve a good fuel economy in city driving. The engine starts again within 0.3 seconds when the brake pedal is released. The rated output of the MR20DD engine is 147ps at 5,600rpm and 210Nm of torque at 4,400rpm. Based on the Japan JC08 test cycle, the SERENA S-HYBRID is able to achieve 15.2km/litre.

The interior of the SERENA S-HYBRID is able to accommodate up to 8 persons while offering 14 different seating configurations. The versatility of the cabin is enhanced by the "Smart Multi Centre Seat" that can slide along the centre aisle of the vehicle. It can function as additional storage in the first row, as an extra seat in the second row, or even as a tray table to be shared with third row passengers.

This Nissan SERENA S-HYBRID gets powered sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle. Just one touch is required on the door handle to operate the sliding doors which offer the largest opening in its class (802mm wide and 1,308mm tall) for ease of ingress and egress. The one-touch operation also extends to the i-Key fob and dashboard-mounted buttons on the driver side.

The driver is greeted by a futuristic yet flowing dashboard design showcasing the sophisticated Eco Driver Navigator that can guide the driver to maximize fuel efficiency.

The Nissan SERENA S-HYBRID is fully-imported from Japan and is competitively priced at RM149,500. It is available only in the premium Highway Star grade with unique front grille and bumpers, larger 16in alloy wheels combined with sports suspension and a dark interior trim.

Exterior colour choices are Dark Purple, Super Black, Brilliant Pearl White and Brilliant Silver and it comes with a warranty of 3 years or 100,000km (whichever comes first). Test drives can also be arranged at Nissan showrooms.

Malaysian MPV buyers are now have the option of hybrid power with the all-new Nissan Serena S-Hybrid launched by Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) earlier today. An eight-seater fully imported from Japan, the Serena S-Hybrid uses a 2.0-litre petrol combustion engine, enabling it to benefit from hybrid tax incentives.

Priced at RM149,500 with insurance, the new Serena S-Hybrid will be sold alongside the existing second-generation Serena C24 2.0 that is being retained for fleet sales. It is worth noting that the S-Hybrid is actually a member of the fourth-generation C26 Serena family; the third generation C25 model was skipped for Malaysia.

The familiar MR20 block from the Sylphy, Teana, and X-Trail forms the basis of the Serena S-Hybrid's powertrain architecture, but in a considerably enhanced state, codenamed MR20DD, featuring direct injection and dual continuous variable valve timing control (dual CVTC); to recap, the regular MR20DE utilizes port fuel injection and intake-only CVTC. Nissan quotes outputs of 145hp and 210Nm.

Nissan's S-Hybrid system is a notably simpler setup than alternatives from Honda and Toyota. Its electric motor is described as an Eco motor, and its primary function is to assist in start-up acceleration, when fuel usage is generally greatest in a day-to-day commute. It also serves facilitate energy recuperation whilst decelerating and braking.

This setup, Nissan claims, allows the S-Hybrid powertrain to be incorporated into an existing platform without structural modifications. All components reside in the engine room and it doesn't even have any of the fancy NiMH or lithium-ion batteries which Malaysian users are so concerned about replacing. The Serena S-Hybrid's electric power supply is supplied by two lead-acid batteries, almost like what's used in conventional vehicles, but enhanced to handle more rapid charging and discharging.

Nissan designed a highly spacious and versatile cabin for the Serena, able to accommodate a maximum of eight people whilst still having decent room for cargo behind its third row seats. The second and third row seats can be arranged into 14 different configurations. Floor-mounted rails allow the seats to also slide back and forth. The 'Smart Multi Centre' seat slides along the centre aisle alternating between functions as additional storage in the first row, as an extra seat in the second row, or even as a tray table to be shared with third row passengers.

In line with affluent tastes of Malaysian buyers, the Serena S-Hybrid comes trimmed in a highly-appointed Highway Star specification. This trim variant carries a more upmarket appearance wearing 16-inch alloy rims and a more pronounced bodykit. It comes with equipment such as one-touch electric sliding rear doors, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, steering mounted controls, front and rear auto climate control, and electronic stability control. It is even sprung in a tauter sports suspension.

Customers are also presented with a number of cost options, all local accessories developed at the initiative of ETCM. There is a selection of window films ranging from RM1,500 to RM3,400 in price, door visors for RM400, and a 10.1" roof-mounted LCD panel. Fabric upholstery is standard, but leather can be order for RM2,800. Also available is a locally-developed TCAT multimedia unit with GPS and reverse camera worth RM3,300. The unit is being offered as a free upgrade as part of a launch promo.

Nissan Serena S-Hybrid launched in Malaysia – 8-seater MPV, CBU from Japan, RM149,500

Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) officially launched the Nissan Serena S-Hybrid this morning in Setia Alam. It doesn't come as a surprise – the hybrid Serena C26 was open for booking earlier this month, but we've seen it in Malaysia as early as January, before the MPV appeared on the oto.my car classifieds in June.

ETCM bills the Nissan Serena S-Hybrid as first hybrid MPV to be sold in Malaysia. Imported as a CBU from Japan, where the Serena is the best selling mid-size MPV ahead of the Toyota Noah, Voxy and Honda Stepwgn, this model takes advantage of duty exemptions on hybrid vehicles below 2,000 cc that at the moment is due to end on December 31, 2013.

No extension to that date has been announced by the government so far, but we understand that ETCM is ready for local assembly if CBU benefits end along with the year 2013.

The Serena S-Hybrid is powered by a MR20DD 2.0 litre engine with 147 PS and 210 Nm (figures are from engine alone, excluding 54 Nm from electric motor). This direct injection twin-CVTC unit is paired to Nissan's latest Xtronic CVT gearbox with Adaptive Shift Control.

An Idling Stop System shuts down the engine when idle, and restarts in just 0.3 seconds after the brake is released. There's a timer that shows the driver how long idle stop is in use. The car's ECO-Motor assists acceleration when moving off. Sounds like the hybrid norm, but the Serena is actually a different kind of hybrid than the ones from Toyota and Honda.

The S in S-Hybrid stands for "smart" and this Serena is actually a "micro-hybrid" of sorts. What Nissan did was beef up the ECO Motor, the Serena's starter motor that controls Idling Stop and functions as an alternator during deceleration.

The starter motor uses a belt pulley type cranking system instead of a normal gear type unit. Even the regular Serena has this, but in the Serena S-Hybrid, the capacity of this motor is increased from 1.0kW/150A to 1.8kW/200A, and the engine bay has an extra 12V-27V-Ah battery. The main 12V-64V-Ah battery drives the motor, while the sub battery powers electrical components like the radio, wipers, etc.

Think of the extra bits as a simple F1-style KERS system. With it, the engine also does not need to move the car AND power the car's electrical needs at the same time, resulting in fuel savings. Fuel economy is listed as best in class – 15.2 km/l in Japan's JC08 test cycle.

On to the MPV part of the equation. The Serena is advertised as an eight-seater (eight seat belts), with a 2-3-3 formation. A variety of 14 seat configurations are available to the user, and there's a Smart Multi Centre Seat that slides along the car's centre aisle. It can function as additional storage for the front row, as an extra seat in the middle row, or as a tray table to be shared with third row passengers.

Getting in and out is easy with powered one-touch sliding doors on both sides of the MPV, which reveal the largest opening in its class. Getting into the third row is done by pushing the left second row captain's chair against the one on the right, creating a walkway. Both middle row seats slide fore and aft.

The rearmost seats can be folded and flipped up to the sides for max cargo mode. In this case, four mountain bikes can fit in. With all seats in place, additional cargo room comes in the form of an under floor compartment that can swallow a golf bag or a baby stroller. There are plenty of storage spaces, including under seat boxes. Second row occupants get flip up trays with cup holders, too.

Standard equipment includes i-Key (keyless entry) with push start, auto climate control, overhead air con vents for the second and third row (temp/fan/mode control for second row), dual airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, auto headlamps and cruise control.

ETCM is bringing in the Serena S-Hybrid in the sporty Highway Star trim level with unique front grille and bumpers, 16-inch alloys with sportier suspension and a dark interior theme. Four exterior colour choices are available, and they are Dark Purple, Super Black, Brilliant Pearl White and Brilliant Silver.

For a promotional period, ETCM will throw in a 6.5-inch head unit with navigation, USB, Bluetooth and rear view camera, worth RM3,300. Optional equipment include a 10.1-inch roof mounted LCD panel (RM700), combination leather interior (RM2,800), window tint (V-Kool or Solar Gard) and door visors (RM400).

The imported from Japan Nissan Serena S-Hybrid retails for RM149,500 on-the-road including insurance. Warranty is three years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.

[WASPADA] Bahaya Penyegar Udara Dalam Kereta & Rumah

– mStar
